It makes sense to combine vehicle journeys where possible, to reduce costs as well as carbon emissions. Car pooling also helps to connect people and build overall awareness of the need for sustainable transport choices.

How to earn this badge

To support car poling efforts, see the Transport badge and read tips on how to drive less overall.

If you do two or more of these you will earn a Car Pooling Badge (Workplace).

  1. Car pooling is promoted and organized in our workplace
  2. Over half of our staff who travel by car do so in car pools
  3. Car pooling is used when staff need to travel to events off-site

How to add a badge to your profile

Sign in and go to your member profile page, then select 'Review my badges'. Follow the 'Read more' links to check the actions for each badge, and tick checkboxes for any badges you have earned. Once you've clicked the 'save' button, the selected badges will display on your profile.
