Organisations can have a positive impact on the community and environment by promoting and supporting sustainability initiatives. They can lead by example, and work with suppliers and customers to research and improve the sustainability of their workplace.

How to earn this badge

If you do three or more of these you will earn an Advocacy Badge.

  1. Our workplace is active in the community by helping others to commit to reducing greenhouse gas emissions
  2. Staff are active in the workplace by helping others to commit to reducing greenhouse gas emissions
  3. Our workplace subscribes to three or more sustainability groups such as Greening Australia, World Wildlife Fund, and others
  4. We advocate application of First Nations peoples’ knowledge and approaches to nature, land management and sustainable use of raw materials
