Change to a fuel efficient vehicle

When your current vehicle needs replacing, choose a hybrid, electric vehicle (EV) or other fuel-efficient car. You could also consider switching to a motorbike or scooter, using more public transport, cycling, or being part of a car-share scheme instead of buying a car.
If you run a business, aim to reduce vehicle journeys for personal and goods transport. If the business owns or leases vehicles, look at changing to smaller cars or electric vehicles. Running EVs or hybrid vehicles can be even more cost-efficient when combined with Green Power.
