  2. There is insulation to all walls and ceilings
  3. Construction materials are made from renewable resources
  4. The house relies on renewable energy supplies
  5. Paints, varnishes and finishes are produced with no or low volatile organic compounds and are not toxic
  6. Overall space used is minimized
  7. There is no air conditioning
  8. Gas or green energy is used for cooking and heating
