Carbon Credit Buying carbon credits to cover emissions from activities
  • Carbon Credit Badge
Carbon credits are a way of defining the amount of carbon an organisation can produce. In some situations, you can offset this by paying carbon credit fees to reduce your overall carbon footprint.

How to earn this badge

If you do two or more of these you will earn a Carbon Credit Badge.

  1. Pay carbon credit fee when flying
  2. Pay carbon credit fees for other events and activities in which we participate (concerts, sporting events, travel etc)
  3. Pay carbon credits to cover all day-to-day household emissions (energy/water/waste/transport) or produce enough renewable energy on site to cover all day-to-day household emissions

How to add a badge to your profile

Sign in and go to your member profile page, then select 'Review my badges'. Follow the 'Read more' links to check the actions for each badge, and tick checkboxes for any badges you have earned. Once you've clicked the 'save' button, the selected badges will display on your profile.

Remember, Green Street Badges rely on each member's honest declaration of what they are doing to be sustainable, so check the actions for each badge carefully!
